Restaurant Associates, part of Compass Group, has secured a new contract with conference and events venue Hinxton Hall Conference Centre in Cambridge.

Compass Group said performance had “surpassed” expectations in its full-year results announcement, adding that an increased desire for outsourcing had resulted in growth opportunities.

Compass Group has reported revenue of £17.9b over the last year, 10.2% down on 2020 due to the impact of the pandemic, however it had returned to 88% of pre-Covid revenue by the fourth quarter.

Workplace food service operator Eurest has promoted two of its most senior directors to joint managing directors.
