Zenith Hygiene Group acquires Cater-Lyne
One of the UK's leading cleaning and hygiene suppliers, Zenith Hygiene Group, has completed the acquisition of Cater-Lyne for an undisclosed sum.
Cater-Lyne, a manufacturer and supplier of catering hygiene and cleaning products based in Harrogate, Yorkshire, is run by James Hannaway and has been operational for 30 years.
As part of the acquisition, Cater-Lyne has been rebranded as Zenith Hygiene and its chemical formulas have been introduced into Zenith's product range.
Ted Collings, Cater-Lyne chief executive said: "We're proud to be joining the Zenith Group family and we look forward to driving forward the business together. Given Zenith's ethos is very much in line with our own, with a priority focus on delivering value, results, service and performance to their customers, we knew this would be an exciting and positive next step for us and look forward to being part of Zenith's ongoing growth."
Zenith is one of only seven cleaning product suppliers accredited by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA). It operates in more than 17,000 sites across the UK, with customers in food and beverage manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, and leisure and facilities management.
Ringo Francis, Zenith Hygiene group chief executive, said: "We're delighted to announce the completion of Cater-Lyne's acquisition and to welcome them to the Zenith Group. We've carved out our leadership position within the food service industry and Cater-Lyne's expertise in this area, along with their very impressive portfolio of customers and importantly, the highly professional team will further add to our offering in this sector."
