Mission Foods launches new lunchtime recipes

Mission Foods have launched a range of new recipes to help caterers offer more variety within the grab and go industry.

Following the outcome from research carried out by Technomic Research on behalf of Mission Foods, results showed that 40% of 18-24 year olds are ordering more ethnic foods and flavours today than a year ago.

This opportunity for outlets to benefit and drive sales by incorporating ethnic inspired dishes on their menus led to the creation of the new wraps, including: a Spanish Chorizo and Pepper Wrap, a New Orleans Prawn Jambalaya Wrap and a vegetarian Chickpea, Sunblush Tomato and Pine Nut Wrap inspired by North African flavours.

"Our aim with these new recipes is to inspire caterers and help them to bring new concepts and flavours to their menus.

We are always looking for new ways to engage with our customers and offer them practical advice. For many pubs, cafés and restaurants, lunchtime can be an extremely profitable opportunity and we are pleased to give caterers the tools to make the most of it."
