Birra Castello Italian lager from CWF

Castello di Udine Birra Castello is a new Italian lager from CWF, which says that world beers are bucking a general downward trend in sales to enjoy a 3% year-on-year boost in value to £757m to the end of February 2010.
Birra Castello is brewed in a former Heineken brewery near the Dolomites in Friuli, Northern Italy, where the high alpine climate bestows a distinctive and crisp character on the lager.
It is a rich, deeply coloured beverage with a nutty and barley aroma balanced by a refreshing taste of hops and malts.
The 4.8% abv lager is sold in cases of 15 x 66cl or 24 x 33cl.
