Roof Gardens becomes 30th member of Leading Venues of London
The Roof Gardens bar in London's Kensington has become the 30th business to join the portfolio of venue finding service Leading Venues of London (LVL).
Rented by Richard Branson's Virgin Limited Edition company for over three decades, and owned by the same German family that also owns department store Liberty, the bar is located 100 feet up on the 7th floor of a listed building on Derry Street, near High Street Kensington. With extensive outdoor areas (that are available but covered in winter), it regularly serves barbecues in the evenings and offers a varied array of dancing and drinking spaces.
The LVL portfolio - which seeks to offer a selection of locations in which to hold conferences and social events - also includes hotels, private members' clubs and unusual venues in the capital, including Chandos House, the Mandarin Oriental, the 8 Club in Moorgate, and the Wallace Collection in the city's Manchester Square.
The announcement comes just over a month after the company added Catey-winning events space company 8 Northumberland Avenue to its portfolio. 8 Northumberland Avenue won the Best Use of Technology Award at this year's Cateys.
