Local buyer for Peterborough café-restaurant and tanning business

Local businessman Halil Kama has made his first foray into catering with the purchase of the Limon Café Bar and Restaurant in the heart of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

The property is an unusual combination of a daytime café bar and evening pizzeria (on the first floor) with a tanning suite in the basement. It is part of the Town Hall building at 25 Bridge Street in Peterborough city centre, Cambridgeshre

It can seat 70 diners inside, with an extra 10 seats to the rear. Outside, the restaurant can seat another 16 customers immediately outside and 40 more in an enclosed dining area opposite on the pedestrianised thoroughfare.

The Ipswich office of Christie + Co sold the lease, which runs until 2023, off a guide price of £245,000, on behalf of Alan Gorrell.
