Restaurant start-ups encouraged to apply for Launchbox investor showcase at GRIF 2020 conference
Restaurant start-ups seeking funding have been invited to apply for Launchbox 2020, a showcase at the GRIF conference in Amsterdam, in which applicants will pitch to attendees for investment.
Interesting concepts with large growth potential that have already secured seed funding will be considered, with 10 startups chosen to participate.
The platform is being sponsored by LXA a property solutions firm for global brands. Sarah-Jane Gran, director of LXA said: "Our team of highly experienced consultants and practitioners are the perfect partners for the Launchbox winners; ready to make a significant difference to their project."
The winning concept will receive an induction session, half-day workshop and professional consultation with three LXA experts covering F&B concepts and operations as well as interior design and brand identity. They will assist the winner in turning their project goals into results and shape their brand. LXA will also provide an analysis feedback document for the winning concept.
GRIF co-founder Jennifer Pettinger-Haines said: "The industry is looking to be inspired by the next F&B breakthrough, and by providing this platform to new start-ups we can offer tangible opportunities to investors and provide restaurant concepts with potential funding and connect them to mentors who can take their concept to the next stage.

GRIF is an annual conference for investors of the restaurant and hospitality industry and will take place in Amsterdam between 11–13 February. The theme of this year's conference is ‘evolve' with a focus on future restaurant trends.
