Just Opened – 34, London
Caprice Holdings has opened its long-awaited steak restaurant in Mayfair, which serves a menu focused on rare-breed steaks and seasonal game from the grill. Interiors take inspiration from the Edwardian and Art Deco periods and there's a collection of contemporary British art.

Menu Steaks are available in various cuts and weights while main courses include slow-braised short rib with winter roots and horseradish; meatballs with spaghetti; and roast lobster with sea greens and garlic butter. Desserts include a Ribston Pippin apple pie with custard, clotted cream or vanilla ice-cream.
