Bill's restaurant to open new site in Bluewater shopping centre

Casual dining group Bill's is to open a new site at the Bluewater shopping centre, Kent, in mid-October.

The 3,195 sq ft space will offer the brand's usual all-day menu, including breakfast, afternoon tea, daily specials and a children's menu.

Scott Macdonald, co-managing director of Bill's, explained that the shopping centre would work well for the brand's all-day concept.

He said: "The restaurant is in a prominent location, with high footfall throughout the day, and it's an opportunity for us to create a really lovely restaurant with plenty of Bill's sparkle."

Situated in the Winter Garden area of the shopping centre, the site will join other brands, such as Five Guys and Comptoir Libanais, the latter of which has chosen the development as its first venture outside of central London.

Started in 2001 by Sussex greengrocer Bill Collinson, Bill's now runs to 39 sites and is headed up by former Caprice Holdings managing director, Andy Bassadone.

It is in a period of expansion, having most recently opened other branches in Battersea and Epsom, south London, and announced plans to open in Woking, Liverpool, Cheltenham, Farnham and Camberley later this year.
