A look at the newest restaurants, hotels, pubs and bars across the UK

Richoux

Two chefs who met while working at two-Michelin-starred Moor Hall in Lancashire have relaunched the Richoux restaurant on London's Piccadilly. Jamie Butler and Lewis Spencer are aiming to "breathe new life" into the 100-year-old restaurant brand, which pays homage to the grand brasseries of Paris.

Diners entering the restaurant are greeted by a pâtisserie counter serving baked goods to eat-in or take away, including tarte tatins and Butler's ‘cruffins', a cross between a muffin and croissant in flavours including passion fruit and banana cream, and sea salt and caramelised white chocolate custard. The main dining room offers an all-day menu of dishes such as French onion soup, Welsh rarebit and croque Monsieur, and larger plates include salmon a la plancha with wild rice, artichokes, lemon and pickled cucumber. From late spring, Richoux will also offer breakfast and afternoon tea menus.
