Jesse Dunford Wood – chef-owner of London restaurants Parlour in Kensal Green and Six Portland Road in Holland Park – has revealed plans to open a third restaurant early next year.
Harvest, opening on Chamberlayne Road in Kensal Rise, will take over a former curry house in Kensal Village. The venue will be an all-day restaurant serving coffee and breakfast from early morning, through to brunch, lunch and dinner.
The seasonal, British-led menus will have an emphasis on contemporary vegetarian dishes. The drinks offering will be wine-led, with cocktails and a strong non-alcoholic offering.
The restaurant will have almost 40 seats inside, a heated covered garden in the back for 30 and a front terrace. Interiors will be led by Ben Masterton-Smith from Transit Studio with a focus on creating a lived-in and comfortable environment. The venue will be decorated with Dunford Wood's father Hugh's wrought iron wall art.
