Two in-administration four-star hotels up for sale

Two four-star hotels are on the market for a combined total of more than £20m, after the companies behind them went into administration.

David Oprey, Richard Toone and Adrian Hyde, joint administrators Pedersen (Ealing) Limited and Pedersen (Bromsgrove) Limited, instructed property agent Christie + Co to market the four-star Crowne Plaza, London Ealing and Holiday Inn, Bromsgrove hotels.

The Crowne Plaza has 131 rooms, while the Holiday Inn Bromsgrove has 110 rooms.

Both hotels operate under global franchise agreements with InterContinental Hotels Group.

David Creamore, director of London hotels for Christie + Co, said: "Off the back of recent London hotel sales in 2013, we anticipate the capital's growing demand for such investments and lack of supply will result in a huge response."

Christie + Co has placed an asking price of £16.5m on the Crowne Plaza, Ealing and £3.95m on the Holiday Inn, Bromsgrove.
