Revpar grows by 27% in London hotels
London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 26.9% in the week ending 9 July, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar climbed to £120.31, up from £94.81 during the equivalent week last year when the terrorist bombings occurred.
Occupancy increased 10 percentage points to 88% and average room rate grew by 12.5% to £136.72, up from £121.52 in the corresponding week of 2005.
