Revpar grows by 16% at London hotels
London hotels grew revenue per available room (revpar) by 16.5% in the week ending 26 August, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £108.70, up from £93.32 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy increased by 3.5 percentage points to 85.8% while average room rate grew by 11.7% to £126.71, compared with £113.39 in the corresponding week of 2006.
