Raithwaite Estate to open Dog Spa
Pampered pooches are to be welcomed to the 73-bedroom Raithwaite Estate in North Yorkshire following the opening next week of a Dog Spa.
A multitude of grooming and styling treatments will be available, ranging in price from a puppy's first groom at £18 up to a pamper session for the owner's wedding day from £115. There will even be massage treatments available, alongside the more standard clipping service.
"For owners looking to give their dogs an extra memorable experience we can offer high intensity bubble treatment, dead sea salt baths, aromatherapy and dead sea mud baths," said a spokesperson for the Raithwaite Estate.
Hazel Gill, who has won the best of breed category at Crufts for her Coton de Tulear dogs, will oversee the running of the spa.
Located within 100-acres of grounds in Sandsend, near Whitby, the Dog Spa will also provide six dog lodges, priced at £10 per hour or £60 for an overnight stay. There are also some dog friendly bedrooms throughout the estate.
The Raithwaite Estate is owned by the Skelwith Group, which is currently developing the 303-bedroom Flaxby Country Resort, near Knaresborough. It is set to become one of the largest hotels in the north of England.
