Gateshead buyer for Whitley Bay guesthouse

George Houghton from Gateshead has bought the Mayfair Guest House in the holiday resort of Whitley Bay on the Northumbrian coast.
The three-storey mid-terrace property on South Parade has a central location on the resort's drinking circuit
It offers 10 letting bedrooms along with an en-suite manager's bedsit to the rear.
The Newcastle office of Christie + Co sold the freehold of the property off an asking price of £240,000 or more on behalf of Imran Nasseer.
