Free energy saving seminar for hotels
Hotel operators are invited to attend a seminar on how their businesses can save up to 26% on their energy bills.
Being held at the Wellcome Conference Centre, London, on 15 February, the seminar will provide hoteliers with the opportunity to learn about the installation of a voltage optimisation solution called Powerstar, which can help hotels reduce energy costs and lower carbon emissions.
Proven results have already been achieved in hotels run by Guoman, Thistle, Holiday Inn and Hilton Worldwide.
Around 35,000 hotels in the UK are affected by inflated energy costs because they are unaware of available sustainability measures. Up to 70% of hotels could be paying too much for their energy, with an average 50-bedroom property spending as much as £50,000 per year on electricity bills,
Speakers at the seminar will include Alan Aldridge of Energy Services and Technology Association, Dr Mike Page of the EASIER Project and Laurence Burton of Coal Services.
Powerstar designer Dr Alex Mardapittas said that hotels were under increasing pressure to make savings without compromising service and to implement long-term sustainable measures. "Voltage optimisation allows hotels to do both save money and reduce carbon emissions," he added
To attend the event, register online at www.powerstar.co.uk/seminarbooking.html or contact Nick Lee on 01709-836200 or nick.lee@ems-uk.org.
