Aparthotel group Roomzzz snaps up Nottingham hotel

The Welbeck hotel in Nottingham has been bought out of administration by aparthotel group Roomzzz.

Previously owned by Starfame, the hotel is to undergo a major renovation to create 106-apartments, including three penthouses, with completion scheduled for April 2015.

The hotel will remain open until the building work on the property begins in January.

Roomzzz currently operates three aparthotels in the UK in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle, with new properties being developed in Chester, Liverpool and Stratford, London.
