Cucina Restaurants retains Bushey Academy contract

School foodservice company Cucina Restaurants has retained its contract at the Bushey Academy in Hertfordshire.

With a projected turnover of more than £680,000, the contract is now set to run until August 2017.

School principal Andrew Hemmings praised the quality of Cucina's food and said that the school was pleased to be continuing its partnership.

Cucina managing director Steve Quinn said: "It's been exciting to be a part of the academy's growth and development and we're very much looking forward to continuing our work here."

Cucina specialises in school catering, and has in recent years signed or retained contracts with clients such as the Haydon School in Middlesex (worth £2.6m), Goffs School in Cheshunt (£1.2m), Highdown School and Sixth Form in Reading; Leigh Technology Academy in Dartford; Longfields Academy in Kent (part of £4.8m worth of business).
