Tender: Café lease opportunity for The Stables Cafe at Hylands Estate

We are looking for a provider to operate the Café in The Stables located at Hylands Estate.

The Café comprises indoor and outdoor seating areas, a servery and large kitchen. To the rear of the premises is a dog friendly area with a dedicated kiosk.

The Café is part of the Stables complex located at the heart of the Estate. The Stables include the Hylands Estate Artist Studios, which are home to a rich, diverse and vibrant community of creatives. It is also home to the Friends of Hylands House Bookshop.

The event programme at Hylands Estate is thriving and includes events that take place within the Stables courtyard. This includes monthly Open Estate Sundays, when all the artist studios are open and there is live music to enjoy.

We have developed a cultural strategy, which includes plans to make The Stables into a hub for art, design and culture. The café is an integral anchor point and we are looking for a café operator who is on board with our vision. They must be prepared to play an integral part in this journey and be part of our creative community.
