Tender Opportunity: British Golf Museum
The 5-star, award winning British Golf Museum in St Andrews plans to extend its facilities to introduce a visitor and events catering area, opening in 2015. A planning application has been submitted to Fife Council, with a view to building works commencing mid-2014.
The Museum is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced operators for the provision of visitor and events catering services within the new facility.
The Museum is keen to appoint a service provider(s) to work in partnership to develop and deliver a high quality and innovative catering service, matching the high standards of the
Museum and its parent body, The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.
The service provider(s) will be expected to pay the Museum a percentage of turnover as part of the concession agreement.
Subject to planning permission and committee approval of the project, the contract will commence early in 2015 for a period of three years, with the option to extend for up to two
further years.
