London Borough of Merton tender notice

MERTON CIVIC CENTRE CATERING SERVICES CONTRACT

1st April 2014 to 31st March 2017

Concessionary Contract: Expressions of interest are invited from innovative and suitably experienced Catering Companies who wish to participate in the tender for the above concessionary contract.

The contract will cover the provision of Catering Services for Staff, Meeting and Function Catering, Internal Trolley Service, the Cafeteria and for members of the Public.

If selected to tender companies will be required to provide proposals on the type of catering service they would provide within the Cafeteria and Staff break out areas.

The Cafeteria and Trolley Services are operated on a cash basis, whilst the Meeting and Function Catering primarily used by the Council are paid by means of a recharge. The turnover for the whole Contract is currently circa £117k p.a.

Interested contractors should register their interest electronically via the Authority's electronic tendering system ProContract (also known as London Tenders Portal). Contractors who express an interest will automatically receive a copy of the tender Pre-Qualification Questionnaire documents. Qualifying contractors will be selected to tender for this concession.

PQQ Publication for registered companies that have expressed an interest:
1 November 2013
PQQ Submission deadline: 18 November 2013
ITT Publication to Selected companies: 16 December 2013
ITT Submission deadline: 17 January 2014
Contract Award: 19 February 2014
Contract Start Date: 1 April 2014
Contract Completion will be: 31 March 2017, the contract will include an option to extend for a further period of one year.
Contract Award criteria: - Concept Offering 60%, Price 40%. Further details will be available to companies shortlisted to tender.
