Ramsay launches range of home-delivery meals
Gordon Ramsay has launched a range of upmarket semi-ready meals aimed at people who fancy fine dining at home but don't have the necessary culinary skills.
The celebrity chef and restaurateur's products are available at selected Sainsbury's and Whistlestop stores, or they can be delivered to your door.
The new "meal-kit" is the result of a deal between Ramsay, Grampian Country Food Group and In2uDelivery.
Recipes were developed by Ramsay and fellow chefs Mark Askew and Mark Sargeant. Customers can choose from pork belly with pomme purée au moutarde, carrots, baby onions in a Madeira sauce; ballotine of beef with pomme purée, baby vegetables in a red wine jus; and breast of chicken with etuvée of leeks, fricassée of smoked bacon and wild mushrooms in a red wine jus.
The meals are produced by two Grampian chefs based in Edinburgh and prices range from £15 to £25 with an extra £15 for home delivery.
