Sadie Filer has joined the three-star, 27-bedroom Langtry Manor hotel in Bournemouth, Dorset, as sales and marketing manager. She was previously events co-ordinator at Salterns Hotel in Poole, Dorset.
The 238-bedroom Birmingham City Inn has promoted Paul Harnedy to general manager. He was formerly the hotel's operations manager.
Restaurants
Mario Zadro has joined Caffé Uno as general manager of the new Notting Hill restaurant in London, which will open on 1 August. Mario previously held the same position at the company's Highgate restaurant, also in London.
The Sticklebackpink restaurant in Chelsea, London, has welcomed Mujibur Rahman as head chef. He joins from Malik's restaurant in Cookham, Berkshire, where he was managing director.

The Food Standards Agency has appointed Julia Unwin deputy chair. Julia is a board member of the National Consumer Council, an independent adjudicator for the Audit Commission and a member of the Committee of Reference of Friends Provident.
Online restaurant reservations company Top Table has recruited Katie Crabtree as marketing manager. She joins from recruitment website Hotrecruit.co.uk, where she held the same position.
