McMillan's Borders foray

Stranraer-based McMillan Hotels has extended its portfolio to seven and moved out of its South-west Scotland heartland with the purchase of two hotels in the Borders.
The company has acquired the four-star, 128-bedroom Hotel Hydro and the 24-bedroom Best Western Park hotel in Peebles for an undisclosed sum backed by funding from the Bank of Scotland.
