Chef guilty of stealing the sheets
A french chef has pleaded guilty to stealing crockery and linen worth about £100 from the Sheraton Park hotel in Knightsbridge, south-west London.
Horseferry Road magistrates were told last week that Christophe Vitalien, 21, had intended the tableware for his new home. The goods were found during a routine search of his room at the hotel's annexe in July.
Vitalien, a first-time offender, was bailed until 7 September for pre-sentence reports.
