Elior takes-off with two-year contract for SkyTeam Lounge at Heathrow

Elior has won a two-year catering contract with SkyTeam Lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 4, serving first and business class customers.

The caterer has been bought in to update the luxury food and drink offering and has already revised the menu with plans to expand offerings for special occasions such as national days and international holidays.

Elior managing director, Robin Givens, said: "We're excited by the prospect of this market first for Elior UK and look forward to growing our partnership with SkyTeam over the next two years. We're honoured to deliver guests a premium quality service at the UK's largest airport."

The lounge is on the ground floor of Terminal 4 departures and serves more than 900 guests every day. It has a wine bar, buffet and other customer amenities including a VIP suite.

Founded in 1991, Elior operates catering contracts across a range of markets including business and industry, education, healthcare and leisure markets. It generated €4.89m (£4.19m) in revenue in the financial year 2017-18.
