The juice bar chain now numbers 89 UK sites, with four openings in the past six weeks

Danish-founded juice, coffee and sandwich chain Joe & the Juice has continued its UK stores expansion, with four openings over six weeks across November and December 2025.
Including other launches earlier this year, the brand opened 16 new UK sites in 2025, forming part of the brand’s strategy to expand to more than 1,000 branches globally in the next five years.
The expansion comes as Joe & the Juice recorded a 31% increase in UK stores from a total of 68 stores at the end of 2023 to 89 by the end of 2025.
New locations include the brand’s first site in Cambridge in November, and Bath and Windsor in December. The chain is also strengthening its presence in Manchester with a new site at the Trafford Centre in November and an upcoming Mosley Street venue arriving in February 2026. These follow a site opening at Manchester Airport and a flagship store at Manchester Cross Street, adjacent to the Arndale, earlier this year.
Jon James, Joe & the Juice’s UK managing director, said: “The response from UK customers this year has been incredible. Each new store we’ve opened has outperformed expectations, which gives us huge confidence as we accelerate our stores into new regions. The UK continues to be one of our most exciting growth markets and we’re looking forward to expanding our reach, this year and next.”
The Q4 openings mark the beginning of a larger-scale roll-out planned for 2026, which will see the brand expand into further regional markets across the UK, building on strong performance and a growing national customer base.
Private equity firm General Atlantic took a controlling stake in Joe & the Juice in 2023, with plans to expand the business worldwide.
From January 2025, Joe & the Juice entered an exclusive partnership with Deliveroo to offer its sandwiches, shakes and coffees on-demand from 60 sites in Birmingham, Brighton, Oxford, Kent, Liverpool and Greater London.
Joe & the Juice began working with Deliveroo in 2019 from just five sites and has now expanded the tie-up across all its UK stores.
Digital sales now make up 29% of Joe & Juice’s business and are at an all-time high for the brand, according to Deliveroo, with the delivery partnership seen as a route to further growth.
Joe & the Juice was founded in Copenhagen in 2002 and currently numbers nearly 450 sites worldwide.
