Neetu Mistry has been appointed managing director for UK and Ireland at IHG Hotels & Resorts.
She takes over from Joanna Kurowska, who held the role for almost five years and has since been named vice president development, Middle East and Africa at IHG.
Mistry brings more than 20 years’ industry experience to the role, having previously served as an owner representative for one of IHG’s regional councils.
She was most recently chief commercial officer at Cycas Hospitality and also spent five years at RBH Hotels.
As UK and Ireland MD at IHG, she will oversee more than 400 open and pipeline hotels and continue to strengthen partnerships with IHG’s owners.
IHG has a presence of in excess of 10 brands across the region, including InterContinental, Kimpton, Vignette Collection, Hotel Indigo, voco, Ruby Hotels, Garner, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites and most recently Six Senses.
