The restaurants are listed alongside One Club Row in London’s Shoreditch and Little Capo in Edinburgh
Climat in Manchester and Calong in London’s Stoke Newington were among the 16 new restaurants that have been added to the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland’s listings this month.
Climat was launched in December 2022 as the second site from the team behind Covino in Chester. It was praised by Michelin for its “well-executed dishes” and “carefully curated” wine list.
The guide also recognised Calong from chef-owner Joo Won, who was previously head chef at the now-closed Galvin at Windows at the London Hilton on Park Lane, for its “great mix of European cuisine with subtle Korean flavours”.
Other additions included One Club Row in London’s Shoreditch from Patrick Powell, James Dye and Benjy Leibowitz, and Tom Brown at the Capital in London’s Knightsbridge.
Michelin updates its recommendations each month based on its inspectors’ travels, with any additions highlighted by a ‘New’ symbol.
It does not confirm if the restaurants will receive a star, Bib Gourmand or any other awards until the formal Michelin Guide ceremony.
