Maya Jama-backed Sproud, a Swedish company that produces a range of pea protein-based milk alternatives, has launched Matcha, a low sugar, ready-to-drink milk alternative. The drink, made from matcha tea powder and spirulina, is foamable as well as being high in protein and low in sugar. Matcha is available in one-litre cartons and can be served hot or cold.

Nestlé Professional has launched Nescafé Barista, created for the foodservice and B2B sector, particularly independent cafés and quick-service restaurants. Nescafé Barista Espresso Blend is a medium-roast coffee with a rich flavour profile rounded out by smooth cocoa notes, and Nescafé Barista Signature Blend is aromatic with citrus notes and a full, rounded flavour. Both blends are designed to offer a premium coffee experience across a range of serve styles.

Gaggia Milano has developed a new, fully automatic coffee machine, La Solare LatteVelluto. It can serve cold and hot beverages and allows users to make minute adjustments to milk foam to create beverages with a velvety consistency. The machine can be paired with an ice maker that can provide up to 80kg of ice every day.

Aimia Foods’ Milfresh brand has expanded its hot chocolate range with two additions: Milfresh Dark and Milfresh Blonde. Milfresh Dark fuses sweet and bitter flavours, while Milfresh Blonde offers a caramelised white chocolate taste. Operators can mix three to four teaspoons of the powdered hot chocolate with 200ml of hot milk to create the drink. Both blends are nut-free and suitable for vegetarians, and Milfresh Dark is vegan when mixed with plant-based milk.

Simply Lunch has released its Christmas 2025 range, featuring five festive favourites. The range comprises the Ultimate Festive Feast Christmas dinner sandwich, Pigs Under Blankets ciabatta, made with regeneratively grown Wildfarmed flour, a vegan spiced parsnip sandwich on malted bread, turkey and stuffing sandwich, and brie and cranberry toastie. Until 31 December 2025, 12p from every Ultimate Festive Feast sold will be donated directly to Meals & More, a UK charity that supports children and families experiencing poverty and social isolation.

Kimbo UK is bringing its Italian coffee brand, La Tazza D’Oro, to the UK hospitality sector for the first time. The coffee will be distributed via Divine Food Importers in London in the south-east and Amano Coffee in Scotland. Miscela Bar offers a balanced and versatile espresso with notes of chocolate, nutty undertones and a fruity acidity, and La Tazza D’Oro Excelsior has hints of caramel, toasted nuts and spice. Both blends of Arabica and Robusta whole beans come in 1kg bags.
