Warewasher and icemaker brand executive has been part of the catering equipment sector for more than 20 years.
Rob Wager, sales director at warewasher and icemaker supplier, Maidaid, has passed away suddenly.
The company paid tribute to him, describing him as “a deeply valued and highly respected member of our company and also the wider catering equipment industry”.
Maidaid commented that he was “more than a colleague, a dedicated professional who approached every task with passion, kindness, and unwavering respect with a great sense of humour and knew how to bring positivity to any situation”.
Having worked within the commercial catering equipment industry throughout his professional career, with stints at Dawson Foodservice Equipment, Meiko and Hobart, Wager joined Maidaid in 2016 as its first national account manager. Following his promotion to sales director in 2020, the business achieved significant growth, with the company praising: “His contributions to our business and the industry will leave a lasting legacy.”
Maidaid added: “Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Rob’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
“We will miss him deeply. Rest in peace, Rob. You will always be remembered.”
