Once complete, the developments will add 341 bedrooms, targeting both business and leisure travellers in the capital
Hospitality firm Queensway Group has secured planning permission for two hotel developments in central London.
The hotels, which will operate under its midscale Point A Hotels brand, will include a 236-bedroom site near Monument in the City of London and a 105-bedroom scheme on High Holborn in Camden.
Both projects will see existing office buildings repositioned into design-led hotels, taking the total number of London properties under the Point A Hotels brand to 11.
Once complete, the developments will add 341 bedrooms, targeting both business and leisure travellers in the capital.
Ryan McWaters, development director at Queensway Group, said: “These approvals reflect our continued focus on unlocking value through well-located assets in central London, including planning-led repositioning opportunities. We are actively deploying capital into similar opportunities and selectively identifying sites where clear value can be unlocked.”
Point A Hotels was founded in 2017 by Queensway Group. It operates nine UK properties, including seven in London, in Canary Wharf, King’s Cross and Shoreditch, as well as sites in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The brand won the Best Use of Innovative Technology Award at last year’s Cateys.
