These include Stephanie Pinto joining as director of sales, while Phil Hudson-Davies has been appointed director of learning, talent, and development
Malmaison and Hotel du Vin have made five major appointments to strengthen its leadership team.
Stephanie Pinto has joined as director of sales, bringing thirty years of sales experience, most recently from Aimbridge Hospitality, while Annie Stevenson has been named digital and marketing director, having worked at the likes of Asda, TikTok and Thomas Cook. Jade Watts has been promoted to director of revenue, distribution, and reservations.
In addition, James Marrable has been named director of property, overseeing property management and compliance, as well as ESG, while Phil Hudson-Davies has been appointed director of learning, talent, and development, having spent five years at the hotel company already.
Scott Harper, chief operating officer at Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, said: “We are pleased to welcome such fantastic talent to the team. These appointments reflect who we are and where we’re going.”
“Having only recently celebrated both brands’ 30th birthdays, it’s a moment not just to look back, but to look to the future. The world is fast-changing and with it, the expectations of our people and our guests. Standing still simply isn’t an option. We’re here to evolve, push boundaries, and to shape what the next thirty years look like. This means bold decisions, fresh thinking, and staying true to the spirit that’s always set us apart. I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited for the path ahead, knowing it’s in the hands of such passionate, capable people.”
Both Malmaison and Hotel du Vin were founded in 1994, the former in Edinburgh, the latter in Winchester. Malmaison now has 18 hotels across the UK, while Holt du Vin has 19. The two groups were united in 2004 when Robin Hutson and Gerard Basset, founders of Malmaison, sold Hotel du Vin to Malmaison’s owner, MWB.
