The £300m Londoner hotel in Leicester Square is to open in September this year after its launch was delayed from 2020.
The 16-storey, 350-room ‘super boutique’ property is operated by Edwardian Hotels London and has been designed by Yabu Pushelberg, the renowned firm behind the Four Seasons hotel in New York.
It will feature six food and beverage spaces, including bars and a tavern, al fresco dining on the ground floor and a Japanese lounge bar with a rooftop terrace and fire pit.
Other facilities include two private screening rooms, an expansive ballroom, meeting spaces and a gym and wellness centre.
The property has secured a £175m ‘green loan’ from HSBC UK, which will be used to ensure it exceeds the BREEAM Excellent category in environmental and sustainable performance.
The Londoner is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts' Legend Collection.
