His appointment marks a return to Lexington, where he was business development manager between 2017 and 2020
Johan Joubert has been appointed business director at Lexington Reception Services (LRS), part of Lexington Catering.
He brings more than 25 years’ experience across hospitality, real estate and workplace management to the role, having most recently been digital placemaking programme manager at British Land.
Prior to that, he worked at CBRE as host associate programme director and EMEA host lead.
His appointment marks a return to LRS, where he was business development manager between 2017 and 2020 and transformation manager at Lexington Catering between 2018 and 2020.
As business director, Joubert will be tasked with overseeing existing client relationships as well as seeking opportunities for market growth.
He said: “I’m delighted to be rejoining Lexington and LRS at such an exciting time. The business has a strong reputation for service excellence, and I’m looking forward to building on that foundation by driving innovation, strengthening client partnerships and supporting the continued growth of LRS.”
Matt Wood, managing director, Lexington and Elior at Work, added: “Johan brings a deep understanding of our sector and a proven track record of driving growth, innovation and service improvement. This role is a significant step for LRS as we continue to invest in best-in-class service delivery and strengthen our position in the market.”
Lexington was founded in 2002 and in 2014 the team launched LRS to better integrate reception and hospitality services – the same year the workplace caterer was acquired by catering giant Elior.
