The specialist event catering division at Sodexo Live! has been serving the estate for the past 20 years
Heritage Portfolio, Sodexo Live!’s specialist event catering division, has secured a five-year contract extension at Hopetoun House in Scotland.
The deal will see the caterer continue to serve the estate as it has done over the past two decades, delivering private events of all sizes.
As part of the next phase of the partnership, Heritage Portfolio will oversee the refurbishment of the Stables Kitchen, a café within Hopetoun House’s restored 18th-century Adam Stables.
It will serve a menu of homemade bakes, light lunches and a classic afternoon tea that can also support the venue’s larger scale events offering.
Sandy Robson, executive director of Heritage Portfolio, said: “Hopetoun House is one of Scotland’s most prestigious and iconic historic stately homes, and it has been a privilege to work within such a remarkable setting for over 20 years. The house’s rich heritage, architectural grandeur and reputation for excellence make it a very special place to welcome guests.
“We are proud to continue this long-standing relationship and look forward to creating many more exceptional experiences. We remain committed to delivering outstanding food, service and hospitality that honours both the history of the house and the expectations of those who visit it.”
Piers de Salis, general manager of Hopetoun House, added: “Our partnership with Heritage Portfolio has been an integral part of how Hopetoun House welcomes visitors and delivers hospitality events for more than 20 years. Extending this agreement allows us to build on a relationship founded on trust, shared standards and a deep understanding of the house and its heritage.”
Heritage Portfolio serves a variety of Scottish venues, including events venues Mansfield Traquair and Signet Library, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, National Galleries Scotland, V&A Dundee and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
