Shangri-La's Villingili Resort and Spa in the Maldives has appointed Emil Minev as executive chef.
Born in Bulgaria, Minev most recently worked as executive sous chef at Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai. Previously he held the position of executive chef at Huvaven Fushi Resort, Maldives, in charge of four restaurants.
Earlier in his career, Minev worked in various London restaurants, including La Tante Claire and the Ritz Club.
