HotStats data for February 2025 also showed Manchester experienced a relatively large drop in revenue per available room
Hotels in London and Edinburgh have reported some of the biggest drops in average daily rate (ADR) this February.
The HotStats February 2025 market tracker showed ADR on a current month basis fell by 5% in London from £180.89 in 2024 to £171.87 in 2025, while ADR plummeted by 13.3% in Edinburgh from £124.91 to £108.33.

Meanwhile, Manchester’s revenue per available room (revpar) dropped by 6.6%, the largest percentage decrease out of the regions surveyed during the period, with figures declining from £70.90 to £66.24.
That said, cities such as Bristol and Glasgow posted an uplift in revpar, with figures rising by 6.8% and 14.3% respectively.

Rolling 12-month data painted a more positive picture across all regions, especially for London and Edinburgh, with revpar growth at 3.3% and 7.5%.
All cities also reported an increase in occupancy, the highest being London at 80.6% and the lowest being Aberdeen at 70%.
