With career-long support your voice will be heard from day one
Red Carnation Hotels is a family-owned collection of award-winning boutique properties, each with its own unique story, character and charm. What unites them is a deep commitment to exceptional service, heartfelt hospitality and a culture that celebrates individuality and growth.
We believe our people are our greatest asset. From the moment you join, you become part of a close-knit team where your voice is heard, your contributions are valued and your development is prioritised. Our hotels are vibrant, welcoming places to work, whether you’re based in London, Ireland, Guernsey, South Africa or Switzerland.
What makes Red Carnation Hotels exciting is the opportunity to be part of something truly special. We offer roles across departments, from front office and housekeeping to food and beverage, spa and support functions. Every role contributes to creating unforgettable guest experiences, and every team member is empowered to make a difference.
Development is at the heart of our culture. We offer structured training programmes, apprenticeships, graduate programmes and leadership development pathways. Our degree apprenticeship programme allows team members to earn while they learn, gaining qualifications and experience simultaneously. Regular appraisals, mentoring and cross-training ensure that everyone has the chance to grow.
Perks include up to 27 days’ holidays plus eight bank holidays, meals on duty, volunteer days, wellness support and discounted stays across our properties. But more than that, we offer a sense of belonging. We celebrate achievements, recognise long service and foster a culture of kindness and collaboration.
Success stories are everywhere. One of our general managers began as a kitchen porter, and two others started on our management programme. These journeys reflect our belief that with the right support, anyone can thrive.
At Red Carnation Hotels, you don’t just build a career – you become part of a legacy of excellence, care and opportunity.
Arella joined Red Carnation Hotels through our degree apprenticeship programme. She started in the front office and quickly demonstrated a passion for guest service and a commitment to learning. With mentorship and structured development, Arella progressed through various departments, gaining a holistic understanding of hotel operations, gaining a portfolio showcasing not only technical skills but also leadership potential.
Today, Arella is the talent and development officer, a role that see her leading recruitment days and mentoring new apprentices, embodying the values of growth, care and excellence. Her story reflects our belief that with the right support, anyone can thrive – and that the best leaders often begin their journey on the ground floor.
