Hit Me Up cocktail was created by George Kosta, bar manager at Smith’s Bar & Grill in Paddington, London.

This refreshing beverage is sweet and tangy with a hint of tropical flavours. Made from white rum, orgeat syrup, pineapple juice, caramel syrup, coconut syrup and lime juice, it can transport drinkers to summertime in any season.

Ingredients

  • 35ml white rum
  • 10ml orgeat syrup
  • 35ml pineapple juice
  • 5ml caramel syrup
  • 15ml coconut syrup
  • 20ml lime juice

Method

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the white rum, orgeat syrup, pineapple juice, caramel syrup, coconut syrup and lime juice.

Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge or lime wheel.
