Tequila and cream Strawberry Moon cocktail recipe

A refreshing and fruity cocktail with a kick from London’s Ixchel.

Strawberry Moon was created by Manuel Lema, head beverages manager at Mexican restaurant and tequila bar Ixchel in Chelsea in London.

 

The strawberry and cream margarita has been designed to pair with the venue’s Mexican menu and features Pancho Datos tequila, a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila known for its rich history and exceptional flavour profile.

 

The smooth taste is balanced by the citrus zest of the lime juice and the fruity tartness of the strawberry purée.

 

Ingredients

  • 50ml Pancho Datos Plata tequila
  • 25ml fresh strawberry purée
  • 25ml double cream
  • 15ml lime juice
  • 15ml agave syrup

 

Method

Combine the tequila with the fresh strawberry purée, lime juice, agave syrup and double cream. Stir and serve in a glass over ice.
