Nosh has launched Steamy, a self-heating meal for workplace dining. Using proprietary technology, Steamy heats pre-packaged, restaurant-quality meals with steam, providing hot meals any time, anywhere. Diners pull a cord in the packet to activate the natural steam reaction and heat the food. Flavours include Thai green curry with rice, jerk chicken pasta, and chilli basil chicken rice. The Steamy vending unit’s modular design allows for easy integration into existing catering facilities.

Auto-sanitising water dispenser

 

Swedish firm Bluewater has introduced the Bluewater Flow drinking water dispenser. The self-sanitising indoor refill stations are designed for simple installation and can connect to any potable water line within a 100ft range. Water travels through a coconut carbon filter for a crisp, fresh taste, removing up to 99% of impurities found in typical tap water The unit can also add trace elements of essential minerals and electrolytes.

Gold Standard Nutrition has added a Firecracker Chicken flavour to its Pots of Gold frozen ready meal line. The latest launch combines mangetout and red onion with panko chicken, Thai flavours and a rich Sriracha sauce.

Necta, an Evoca Group brand, has brought hot drink vending machine Opera Touch to market. The machine is designed to be easy to use for customers, with a 13.3” screen that can display video as well as nutrition and allergen information, and for operators, being quick to programme and personalise. The machine offers freshly brewed tea, instant coffee and soup.
