Monin launches coffee and cocktail digital masterclass series

Syrups and flavour supplier Monin has launched a series of digital coffee and cocktail masterclasses to help bartenders and baristas challenge their creativity at home.

Scheduled interactive Facebook Live masterclasses will be supported by Kenji Jesse, luxury alcohol consultant to some of the world's best bar brands, and Dan Fellows, two-time winner of the World Coffee in Good Spirits title, who will share their insights and thinking on experiences and recipes for the trade, covering alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and discussions arounds flavours, textures, blends and balance.

Lee Hyde, beverage innovation manager at Monin, said: “Change has always been a constant in our industry, and that’s the case now more than ever. So our masterclass series is about providing support, guidance and skills to bartenders and baristas during this challenging time for the industry. We want to encourage baristas and bartenders to use this time to continue to further embrace their creativity and build their skills at home, while benefiting from market leading trends and thinking.”

Bartenders interested in joining can participate at 5pm every Thursday, while baristas can join at 10am, all throughout June on Monin UK’s Facebook page.
