Three-Michelin-starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic to open in London with Four Seasons

Three-Michelin-starred French chef Anne-Sophie Pic is to open a restaurant at the new Four Seasons hotel in the City of London.

She will launch La Dame de Pic at the 100-bedroom Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, which is set to open in December 2016. The restaurant will aim to marry the essence of Pic's French cooking that stems back to Maison Pic, her family's restaurant in Valence, south-eastern France, with the classic English environment of Ten Trinity Square, which was originally designed as the headquarters of the Port of London Authority.

Designed by Bruno Moinard of Paris architects 4BI, the eaterie will feature natural wood flooring, carved woodwork, curved leather banquettes and columns covered with bevelled mirrors. It will be a cross between a traditional Parisian brasserie and an English dining room.

Guests will be able to enter La Dame de Pic, which will have a private wine cellar and private dining room, from the hotel's bar or directly from the street.

Pic, who now operates restaurants in Paris and Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as Valence, said: "I am thrilled to be partnering with Four Seasons to bring my cuisine to a new audience in London in the spectacular location of Ten Trinity Square. Renowned globally for its quality, service levels and its people culture, we share the company's strong values and are equally focussed on delivering an unforgettable dining experience to our guests."

Charlie Parker, general manager of the hotel, added: "We are delighted to be working alongside chef Anne-Sophie Pic to bring a completely new gastronomic experience to the Square Mile. La Dame de Pic is set to become a new dining destination in London, and we are excited to be able to bring this new offering to the capital."

Pic won her third Michelin star in 2007, becoming the first female chef to achieve the accolade since 1933.

Her restaurant will be one of two food outlets at the hotel, alongside an Asian eaterie. The property will also feature 41 private residences and a spa.

Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square will become the third hotel in the UK for the global hotel management company Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, which now numbers 98 properties in 41 countries. It will join sister hotels in Park Lane and Hampshire, having ended its contract on 30 April to operate the 142-bedroom Four Seasons at Canary Wharf, which has now been renamed as Canary Riverside Plaza hotel.
