He takes over from James B Clarke, who has returned to London Hilton on Park Lane
Hasham Soliman has been appointed general manager of Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge.
Soliman takes over from James B Clarke, who announced his departure from the PPHE Hotel Group property in November 2025 to return to London Hilton on Park Lane, where he was director of operations for three years between 2011 and 2015.
Soliman most recently served as area general manager for Sanderson London and St Martins Lane, both part of Ennismore’s Morgans Originals collection.
Prior to that, he was cluster general manager for Dominus Real Estate, leading the openings of Lost Property, St Paul’s (Curio Collection by Hilton) and the Dixon, Tower Bridge (Autograph Collection by Marriott). He was also opening general manager of InterContinental London, the O2.
Soliman brings more than 30 years’ experience in the industry back to Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge, where he was hotel manager during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
He is also a Master Innholders scholar and one of a select group of UK hoteliers to have completed the Advanced General Manager Programme at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
Daniel Pedreschi, executive vice president operations UK at PPHE Hotel Group, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Hasham back to the group. His depth of experience across London’s luxury and lifestyle hotel market, and his proven ability to deliver both exceptional guest experiences and strong commercial performance, make him the ideal leader for Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge as we continue to strengthen our position in one of the capital’s most exciting hospitality destinations.”
Soliman added: “I am delighted to return to Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge, a hotel that holds a special place in my heart. I look forward to working with the incredible team to further strengthen its position as a leading destination on London’s South Bank, while continuing to deliver exceptional guest experiences and fostering a culture of growth and excellence among our colleagues.”
