Gather & Gather Ireland launches workplace dining across Dublin

Gather & Gather Ireland has launched Delivered by Gather & Gather, a workplace dining service delivering to offices and employees’ homes across Dublin.

The company has said that its new service will offer a wide selection of food options that are “safely produced, individually prepared and packaged, and delivered contact-free to workplaces”.

Each dish will use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients with the purpose of making workplaces and teams healthier and more productive.

Pauline Cox, managing director of Gather & Gather in Ireland, said: “Office life has changed for the foreseeable future. For business leaders, our clients have more to navigate than ever before.

"We believe that providing food in the workplace is a key move towards keeping offices safe in this new era of social distancing. Rather than leaving the office for lunch, it’s a good strategy to have employees stay put by providing them with meals and snacks – this is now more than a perk: providing great food is prudent management.”

Cox added that the company was “uniquely positioned” to provide high-quality, healthy and meals and snacks with “unparalleled food safety standards”.

“This is an area we know well, so it makes sense to extend the service to other clients looking for a safer solution in this current climate.”

The service also includes a ‘care package’ option that is sent directly to an employee's home, so businesses can provide food, including standard meals, snacks and party packages for online events, to their teams while they are working from home.

Gather & Gather, part of CH&Co, operates in more than 270 sites in Ireland and the UK. Last year it was named Business and Industry Caterer of the Year at the Foodservice Cateys.
