It marks Creative Restaurant Group’s fifth opening in London.
Kioku by Endo from chef and culinary director Endo Kazutoshi has opened at the OWO in London’s Whitehall.
It comprises the rooftop Kioku Restaurant and the ground floor Kioku Bar, which features one of the largest saké collections in Europe.
Kioku Restaurant has a 55-cover dining room, an eight-seat Chef’s Table overlooking the kitchen, an eight-seat private dining room in one of the Old War Office turrets and an outdoor terrace.
The à la carte menu offers dishes such as cuttlefish nori pesto and elderflower, chashu pork ramen ravioli, native lobster with fregola, shiso oil and sancho, and smoked yellowtail with green apple ponzu and sobacha guanciale.
Kazutoshi has also introduced a bespoke tuna trolley for guests to enjoy tuna table side.
Meanwhile, the Kioku Bar stores roughly 300 bottles of saké, which have been chosen by saké samurai Natsuki Kikuya and her team of experts.
Kioku by Endo joins the roster of F&B outlets at the OWO, next to Raffles London at the OWO, which officially opened last September.
It also marks Creative Restaurant Group’s fifth opening in London, following Michelin-starred Endo at the Rotunda in White City, Sumi in Westbourne Grove, the Michelin-starred Humo in Mayfair and Niju in Mayfair.
