Celebrity chef Brian Turner is to launch a restaurant at Butlins Bognor Regis holiday park resort in West Sussex, with a further two sites in the pipeline.
The former Michelin-starred chef and president of the Academy of Culinary Arts will open the 150-seat family-friendly restaurant, called Turner's, at Butlins Bognor Regis in time for Easter.
Turner's will serve a menu of traditional British food with dishes including shepherd's pie with a Wensleydale topping, West Riding hot pork pies, prawn cocktail, grilled lemon sole, marmalade bread and butter pudding, and chocolate and orange tart.
Turner told Caterersearch the menu was designed for families. "It's all the kinds of food you'd have at home with your family but made better," he said.
The chef has been involved in all aspects of setting up Turner's, including the design and layout of the kitchen as well as the recruitment.
Butlins operations director Mike Crowther added: "Brian is the perfect choice for Butlins. He loves British food and feels passionately about making sure it's well-sourced and beautifully cooked. We think the new restaurant will be a real hit with our guests and, if it is, we're hoping to bring Turner's to our other two resorts soon."
