WSH Restaurants is to open an all-day restaurant in a newly built property in Berkshire.
The Boxford will launch in November on the site of the former Bell at Boxford pub, which had fallen into disrepair.
It will be the fourth restaurant in the WSH Restaurants portfolio, which also includes the Woodspeen in Newbury, the Star Inn in Sparsholt, and the Clockspire in Milborne Port.
The Boxford will offer all day family-friendly dining and feature a pitched roof stretching to seven metres in height that will be thatched using sustainable materials.
“This is a project with a real community focus,” said WSH Restaurants’ managing director Alessandro Fasoli.
“We made a promise to deliver a venture that is sustainable and accessible to all, so we’re bringing a new all-day produce-led dining concept to life here, something more relaxed that’s a great fit for families and something which, similarly to the Woodspeen, will offer full-time employment opportunities and high quality career progression for local people.”
WSH is also the parent company of hospitality brands including Benugo, Searcys, BaxterStorey and Holroyd Howe.
